Dear E.S.,

"I am very proud of you because you teached Nobody how to bowl and to play because you were paying attention to him." A.T.

"I like to help my mom cook on certain days because I am showing an act of kindness to my mom and she really likes it just like your mom really likes it." L.J

"My sister J.B. let's me sleep in her bed. It makes me feel proud of her because she is showing an act of kindness. Nobody felt proud of E.S because he let him sleep in his bed."J.B

Making Nobody Comfortable!

Dear Ms. Schmidt and Mrs. Theis,

I made a bed for Nobody. I thought that it would make Nobody comfortable. I used a black and white striped pillow and a yellow and green striped bed. When I made that bed I felt proud and happy of myself because I could make Nobody more comfortable and happy.

Today we read about how J.S  showed four acts of kindness with Nobody. We can tell that he was very excited to show kindness. It was such a great idea to have a "welcome home" party for Nobody! We are sure that it made him/her feel special and welcomed. We have some questions and comments for you.

Dear Ms. Schmidt and Mrs. Theis' class,

Sofar, three students have taken Nobody home, to help turn him/her into a Somebody. A.A was first. He helped his mom by doing the dishes so that she could rest. Next, E.G.B took Nobody home and she showed kindness by making a beautiful painting for Mrs. Abalos. Right now, A.C is spending time with Nobody. We are waiting patiently to hear all about what she and Nobody will do together. We have been wondering if she will help a human, an animal or the environment. It is always so exciting to find out how everyone is doing really nice things to help living things.

A Letter to our Kindergarten friends...

Dear Ms. Schmidt and Mrs. Theis' class,

We are very happy about this surprise! We are also happy that we have a blog together. We are excited that we get to take the doll home! Some of us thought that there was a cat inside because there was a picture of a cat on the box. A lot of people thought it was Tweenie, the dog we sponsored from Thailand at Soi Dog. We talked about the ways we can make Nobody into a Somebody. We can't wait to hear about your experience!
